Round Catchall tray Tema e Variazioni No. 6

Round porcelain catchall tray, hand-decorated with Lina Cavalieri’s face in black and white, represented through its essential features alone: eyes, nose and lips.

A stylised portrait that turns facial features into a pared-back graphic design, part of the celebrated Tema e Variazioni series, conceived in 1952. A decorative object to collect or give as a gift.

Made in the Fornasetti Atelier in Milan. Minor variations between similar pieces attest to the uniqueness of each creation.
