- The trumeau is a piece of furniture designed by Piero Fornasetti and Gio Ponti that is recognised as an icon of Italian artistic design. It continues to be handcrafted in a limited edition today. Silkscreened, painted and lacquered by hand, its three drawers, double door, and folding desk open onto imaginary worlds. The Architettura Celeste decoration is a reworking of the historic black and white motif created in the Fifties.
As per the original design, the Fornasetti trumeau has lights in the recess and flap, and is wired for Europe (EU). For more information please contact us here.
Any minor discrepancies between similar creations are the result of artisanal production methods and attest to the uniqueness of each product.
