CALENDAR PLATE

The tradition of the Calendar Plate embodies the spirit of Fornasetti: an everyday object that becomes the bearer of a message, an idea that multiplies according to the principle of infinite variation. A

Created in limited edition since 1968, the Calendar Plate reaches its sixtieth edition in 2027 and is a true cult object for admirers of the Atelier. Today more than ever it is considered a collector’s piece: the Fornasetti gift par excellence.

THE 2027 CALENDAR PLATE

The Calendar Plate turns the passing of the months into a visual story, signed by the hand that holds the brush, a recurring motif of Piero Fornasetti’s work since his self-portraits of the 1940s.

Each of the 850 numbered pieces is an art multiple, hand-decorated in the Milan Atelier.
